hi,
these are some issues I’m having with 14.1.
1- I use SOL to view the console via ipmi - not the serial but the serial-over-lan.
up to13.2 all is ok, by all i mean:
1 - boot/kernel/init output is visible
2 - escape to debugger via \n~^B works.
3 - /dev/console is fine
with 14.1:
1- init output is missing (have to guess why multiuser fails :-)
2- no longer works
3- is not working (hence explaining 1)
any insights?
thanks,
danny

This is likely due to using UEFI. How did you configure this before with
BIOS?

it’s happening also with vmware and bhive so I don’t think the BIOS is involved.
managed to solve - magically- the kernel/init outputs,
but now i’m still left with a non working escape to debugger,
will have to check the changes in the kernel

thanks,
